El Gato

208 Main Street, Jeffersonville, VT

Casual Mexican cantina. Family recipes: tacos, enchiladas, and specialty margaritas, plus house-infused tequilas.

The Family Table

4807 VT-15, Jeffersonville, VT

Chef-owned dinner. Wood-fired pizza from an Italian oven, plus a full menu, wine, beer, and cocktails. From Main Street, go back to where 108 meets 15. A couple minutes in the car.

Grist Mill Covered Bridge

A short covered bridge over the Brewster River, with picnic tables at the park. From Main Street, take 108 toward Smugglers’ Notch for about half a mile. Look for Canyon Road on the left, just past the old mill. The Brewster River Park lot is on the right before the covered bridge. Park there. Don’t park on Canyon Road.

If you’re still driving down 108 from the mountain, skip the sharp right onto Canyon Road. That turn is a bad one. Come into the village first, then go back up 108 so Canyon Road is a left.

Pickup on Main Street

Notch Nugs is at 168 Main, between the bakery and the gallery. Order ahead if you don’t want to linger. 21+ ID.
